Association for Positive Ethical eXchange: The Association for Positive Ethical eXchange (APEX) is a group of internet users whose goal is to maintain a standard of ethics in our dealings or associations with all people and organizations which use the internet to sell, buy or eXchange products and information. Our mission on the internet is to increase the credibility and professionalism of all website owners, designers and users, to set ethical standards, encourage professional practices, and promote fellowship amongst internet users.
International Webmasters Association: The International Webmasters Association (IWA), a nonprofit professional association, is the industry's recognized leader in providing educational and certification standards for web professionals. IWA's initiatives support more than 100 official chapters representing over 200,000 individual members in 106 countries. IWA's accomplishments include the industry's first guidelines for ethical and professional standards, web certification and education programs, specialized employment resources, and technical assistance to individuals and businesses.
Internet Society: The Internet Society's members are bound by a common stake in maintaining the viability and global scaling of the internet. They comprise of the companies, government agencies, and foundations that have created the internet and its technologies as well as innovative new entrepreneurial organizations contributing to maintain that dynamic.
The HTML Writers Guild: The HTML Writers Guild is the first and largest international association of website design and webmaster developers. The HWG was founded in 1994 as the World Wide Web's leading training organization for the Web design community, with over 150,000 members in more than 160 countries worldwide.
Vision Imaging Partners: Vision Imaging Partners, Inc. was established in 1997 to preserve the independence and integrity of radiology service and supply companies through a nationwide network of members dedicated to common goals and strategies for the future.
Web Design and Developers Association: When you do business on the internet, ensure that the companies and individuals that you deal with are WDDA members and have the WDDA logo prominently displayed on their page. Why? Because WDDA members are a cut above the rest. Since 1996 we have only registered THREE complaints against WDDA members and have only had to remove five members for unethical business practices.
Web Developers Association of America: The Web Developers Association of America is an association made up of web developers from all over the United States. Our mission is to educate and advance the web development industry within the United States as well as help our industry remain competitive on a global scale.
Web Standards Group: The Web Standards Group is for web designers and developers who are interested in web standards and best practices. We aim to provide web developers and designers with a forum to discuss issues and share knowledge; provide web standards information and assistance to developers; and promote "web standards" within the development community.
World Wide Web Chamber of Commerce: The World Wide Web Chamber of Commerce, WebChamber.com, was established in 1997 as the internet's TRUE Chamber of Commerce. Where many communities have established local Chambers of Commerce to nurture local businesses, provide a forum for networking, and promote civic activism, WebChamber.com has similar goals; however we serve businesses that operate on the internet.
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C): The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community where Member organizations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards. Led by Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee, W3C's mission is to lead the Web to its full potential.
